Gorilla Tracking

Tracking mountain gorillas through the dense African forests is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Only eight visitors are permitted per gorilla group each day to ensure minimal impact on the animals.

Visitors must maintain a 7-metre (22-foot) distance to reduce the risk of transmitting human diseases.

Treks usually last 3 to 8 hours and can be challenging depending on the gorillas’ location.
